Like with ancient greek or egyptian mythology, but with more overthrow of Olympus and ultimate destroy of Ra? Pirate lore, rebellion amongst the cosmos, revolution in the spirit realm, insurrection of nature against the unnatural, etc etc.

Not looking so much for contemporary literature (which is gratefully provided on other questions here). Against His-story, Against Leviathan was cool as far as creating an anti-authoritarian kind of folklore out of human history goes, so anything along those lines would be helpful.

The story of Prometheus (stealing fire from the gods and giving it to humanity) has been read/interpreted in terms of Prometheus giving humanity the gift of rebellion against their gods and masters.

An old issue of CrimethInc's Rolling Thunder ended with a re-telling of the Prometheus myth in a different light.

I'm totally sure there are other examples but that one springs immediately to mind.

(Obviously Percy Bysshe Shelley's "Prometheus Unbound" is related to this although that's another contemporary re-telling.)

Nietzsche and some amoral anarchists have taken inspiration from the figure of Dionysus, whose mythology in ancient Greece associated him with indulgence in wine (for which he is best known) but also with ritual orgy, ecstasy, and as the friend of social outsiders and chaotic elements.

The Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme can be read as a story of entropy, in which everything tends toward chaos, and order is as fragile as an egg. Lewis Carroll's Humpty Dumpty places this story into the question of the meaning of words.
