I'm still kind of unsure on this subject. The way I see it society clearly privileges some people over others, but the discourse over it has mostly evolved into some kind of tumblr-based lifestyle reformism that's completely divorced from radical politics: ie. men stop taking up too much space on the bus and everything will be fine.
