Does humor imply a subject-object relationship?

Question

Humor is often viewed as something light and harmless, but it's not, it's actually a very dangerous weapon. Truth is, it's a lot easier to laugh at something if you're not involved in it.

Can you have a sense of humor about someone without viewing them as an object?

i laugh at myself very frequently (often i am laughing with myself as well). does that mean i view myself as an object? i don't really care.

i guess i question the rigidity of subject/object.
