Brand argues for what is essentially leftist/democratic government. He is not an anarchist.
The guy spouts some "radical" rhetoric on tv or in a paper and suddenly he's the new messiah of the"radical liberals" and "revolutionary left". Ugh
That said, in his recent tv appearances and publications (which I am assuming is/are the inspiration(s) for this question, but I could be dead wrong, oh well) he does speak /some/ truth to power and could be useful in encouraging others to explore alternatives to the status quo.
Of course there's nothing to guarantee these would be desired and/or specifically anarchist alternatives, but fuck it, just keep on truckin.
