The writing builds out of 20th c. French/continental philosophy, which likewise tends to emphasize subjective ways of knowing rather than strictly argumentative or objectivist discourse. Part of the collectives' message is that language itself is a contentious issue, as there is currently no language with which to express the desires of the resistance. The writing (in form as well as content) tries to open up a symbolic counter-hegemonic space. Generally speaking, I don't think it's a body of writing that is trying to be obscure, but this obscurity perhaps comes from close attention to how words and language are used.
