Who is Lorenzo Kom'boa Ervin ?

I know little of him and just read a post about him on Anarchistnews. I'm going to of course look him up myself but since the internetz can be scant on anarchist history in my opinion, I like to read what people on this website think or know.

I know what I've absorbed from the internet, primarily. Lorenzo has been active in a number of struggles over the years, as well as having played (as I understand it) an important role in the reconstituting of the Anarchist Black Cross in North America. That much is not really an answer to what I think you are asking, I respect him, but I doubt he and I would agree on much beyond our hatred for the state and capitalism.
