police violence is certainly reported on a much more regular basis these days than it was, but it won't get rid of the problem because it doesn't challenge the inherent ways of thinking that drive policing and police violence.

As reality is always changing, certain things will change overtime...what do you see happening in the future?

what i wish would happen:

folks get increasingly fed up with the "police state" direction of law enforcement, begin to see how that fits into the big picture of social control and repression, and start opening their minds to other possibilities for organizing and living their lives without the state and its enforcers. ie, welcome to anarchy.

what i think will happen:

folks get increasingly fed up with the "police state" direction of law enforcement, and continue to try to address it through voting, protests, the legal system, and so-called participatory democracy. ie, welcome to the status quo.
