my therapist at one point told me something along those lines, or something like "people are becoming more political", however, it could very easily seem like that just because of internet stupidity....and we are in fact in an internet age!

Does my therapist's comment have any basis in reality?

most definitely we are in an internet age. and that does allow for a much broader range of information to be easily obtained by many. i don't think that necessarily makes it a more political age, but i do think there is the opportunity for more folks to become more easily (if perhaps more shallowly) politicized.

without the internet, the mid/late 1960s was a very political age. more so than today? i guess it depends on how one defines "political". is signing an online petition a political act? is tweeting #blacklivesmatter? is voting?
