An excellant anarchist action can live on and inspire people by being recounted as a genuine good news story. My favourite is not much spoken of and was not reported in the press. It would be nice to read about such positive events, and others younger then me would be given some food for thought.

Greece!

I don't know whether it can be considered an "action" as such, but I find the persistence of Whitewater Colony, an anarchist 'commune', to be very inspirational. There have been quite a lot of similar communes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_anarchist_communities . I'm sure many anarchists would describe these attempts as "lifestylist" or non-revolutionary, preferring to focus on destroying state and capital first and saving such matters for "after the revolution." In any event, anarchism implies actions of destruction and creation.
