The way Zizek uses "The Pelican Brief" movie as an axiomatic point of philosophical gibber gabber and unrequited flim flam disturbs me.

His "ironic" Stalin poster in his home is also telling. The International Journal of Hipster Stalinism is his flagship magazine...used to be called Adbusters.

So, was Stalin the John the Baptist to Zizek's Jesus ?

Sorry to ask a non-Anarchist question (?) but this may be relevant to Anarchists. I just came across this Duane Rousselle, who wrote After Post-Anarchism. Read about it on Little Black Cart's website.

This Duane Rousselle seems to be a big Zizek fan (or are they called worshipers ? I'm trying to be politically correct and shit. )

Two Cheers for too many hyperlinks !

The fact that an Academic magazine "The International Journal of Zizek Studies" is in existence is really funny.

I'm not familiar with Duane Rousselle, but he did write an article for the International Journal of Zizek Studies, which is interesting to say the least ?

John Zerzan and friends on Anarchy Radio have taken time to dismantle Zizek's writing and logic.

"...the increasingly chuckle-inducing Žižek (with his nostalgic Stalinism without Stalin)."

“Troubling”, huh? Maybe you should have a conversation with him about Zizek instead of having scurrilous opinions about people you have no real knowledge of.
