i'm not answering for everyone, but i am suspicious of people who use justice because it is frequently a code word that comes with a lot of implicit assumptions (like, that the speaker and i would agree on what a just response would be, or that justice in some sense is even possible under current conditions).
like many words that seem like obvious Goods (freedom, liberty, fairness, equality, etc), it is too laden with expectations, and too vague, to be that useful in the kinds of conversations that i am most interested in having.
