How far did the coops and communes in Catalonia and Aragon reach? How many people were directly involved with them , and what was the degree of force used to collectivize all those means of production , and where can i find good sources how what changed in the lives of those living inside of the anarchist territory?
I ask these questions because many people (Mainly non anarchists) go around the internet explaining how , few collectives were formed and the living standards droped while the collectives that did form were mainly by force , i don't believe this but i would like to get more information.

I suppose the book, The Anarchist Collectives: Workers’ Self-Management in the Spanish Revolution, 1936–1939 edited by Sam Dolgoff, would help you find answers to the question you've asked.
